
"I don't want be alone for the rest of my life."
"Is that a question or a statement?"
"Why would it be a question?"
"Coz you are the one who brought us here. Are you feeling guilty?"
"Sadly, I have no remorse."
"How ironic."
Ridhi turned and left. She was the one who felt remorse, she was the one facing a lifetime of loneliness ahead of her. She was the one whose beliefs were broken beyond repair. She was the one, who was being left behind. She was the one who tried, she was the one who lost.
And the only reason he gave her was - "I don't want to be alone for the rest of my life."
Ironic indeed, his fear of loneliness, and she was forced to live it through.
Sometimes it takes a lifetime to build one relationship, and sometimes it takes up all that is alive.
Sameer, was just a passing breeze, but he uleashed a storm in her life. And she spends a long time picking up the pieces . . . . everyday.
