Hum ek baar jeete hain, ek baar marte hain....
I am very selfish; lets say 99.999999 percent of the times. I call it survival instincts and I don't see anything wrong in it. It keeps me alive (I can add a lot more to that, the Ayn Rand way) and that is reason enough to be so.
But there comes a day, probably one in a millions, when I feel- if only I could be granted one wish , I de wish such-and-such for so-and-so person(s). No wonder he/she/they have got to be very close to my heart, so it's not so selfless after all.
I de make them pay up for all, and a lot more, the good I ve done them. I ll get myself pampered to the core. And rejoice in the happiness of someone so dear to me. The very though of being able to do it, or just see it happen in this lifetime, makes my heart fly.
And I pray, I get a chance to do it. Wish it could be one of those days, when life changes, for a change - for good.
I also wish for fresh strawberries with ice cream and cream and chocolate sauce!

P.S. A part of my head screams, that life has it's reasons that only time will reveal, but today I don't wanna belong to civilization.

I dont know.. There are so many things that I wish for at times.. that granting one wish seems too unjust!! I wouldnt take it.:)
But heh! I was thinking something like this today.. I was thinking that I should take on fulfilling one wish per person that I care for.
