SORRY GENTELMEN……….AM A FEMINIST

Why should a woman marry someone below her? Rather why should a man do the same too? I believe its best to marry one’s equal. And here by equality I don’t mean one’s bank balance. Am talking of the intellectual equality. The mental compatibility……….being on one wavelength.
Men feel they are being a savior if they marry someone below them. They are elevating them, giving them a position in the society. But ask those ladies, do they too find life as rewarding. Are their opinions sought and respected. Do they have a say in the important decisions of the family. Do they have the respect a lady should have?
Then why only point finger at a woman when saying that she wont settle for someone below her. Why should she? I think women are rather fairer in their approach. At least they make their stand clear, and they don’t harbor unrealistic views of themselves.
Life with an equal would be so much more easier. And in our culture women are taught to look up to their husbands, and we have to treat them with reverence anyway and look up to them………….so let there be reasons enough to look up to.
