PASSIONS

“The only praiseworthy indifference is an acquired one; we must feel as well as control our passions. “

What else was I talking of yesterday. I just stumbled upon this quote by chance, and I knew instantly that it was not chance after all. I was meant to see it.
As usual I had been reading yesterday, inspite of the approaching xsm. I had to. If there is one great gift I ve been given its love for reading. It has saved my life so many times.
I was reading about passion, and patience. Queer combination! Passion is the propelling force, and patience is a force too, but a holding-back one. But come to think of it, one is useless without other. If you don’t have a passion, you don’t want anything. Your waiting is because you have nothing better to do. This cant be called patience. Patience is because passion is. And who said passion is supposed to be bad, just because it has force!
The fact is one a force has the potential to bring change, and world detests changes. And hence anyone who has the potential for it. Anyways that’s a different story. We r talking of patience here.
To me word like determination, stubborness, patience and passion all feel alike. They all feel strong. So does time. It’s the strongest force on earth. And strength is what I identify myself with. And strength is what I can, and have forever respected.

“The passions act as wind to propel out vessel; our reason it the pilot that steers her; without the winds she would not move; without the pilot she would be lost.”

“To bear is to conquer out fate.”
