Singing Vinging....

On my way to office today morning, heard a song, whose lyrics I can't even remotely recall now, though am sure it was some Shammi Kapoor song.
But that's not the reason why I still remmember it, it is coz the music was highly inspired......alrit lifted straight from "I wanna hold your hand" by Beatles.

Seems like somethings have always been the same in our dear Bollywood!!!

Next, talking of Alvin Toffler, Future Shock and the idea of Dispoasability, my friend pointed out this song from the movie Page3 last night -

Kitane ajeeb rishtey hain yahan pe
Do pal milte hain saath saath chalte hain
Jab mod aaye to bach ke nikalte hain.....

And it has been playing at the back of my mind since!

Lastly, this melodious song by Strings and Hariharan....
(again today morning's FM)
Bolo bolo bolo bolo naaaaaaaa..........

Too many earworms....now I 'll get back to my headphones!!!

...but lemme just finish these lyrics first...

Yahan sabhi apni hi dhun mein diwaane hain
Karein wohi jo apna dil theek maane hai
Kaun kisko poochein, kaun kisko bole
Sabke labon par apne tarane hain
Lejaye naseeb kisko kahanpe...

Khwabon ki ye duniya hai, khwabon mein hi rehna hai
Raahein le jayen jahan sang sang chalna hai
Waqt ne hamesha yahan naye khel kehle
Kuch bhee jo jaaye yahan, bas khush rehna hai
Manzil lage kareeb sabko yahan pe...

Kitane ajeeb rishtey hain yahan pe.

its probably bcos of my proficiency (actually the lack of it ;) in hindi..

but, in general, i focus on the music rather than the lyrics.. lyrics - only the first paragraph or so..

and then, when i get to hear it again after some hazaar times, i see it! ;)

i never knew that this song was copied.
"tumse milke" from parinda was a direct lift from "when i need you " and some movie ( dnt remember) copied the theme music of "Come September".
