So you thought Jassi is pure fiction. I thought so too, till a friend showed me her college snaps !! :-O
She was a perfect Jassi ( complete with large glasses, wavy hair and creepy dressing) sans the braces though. See her today, and I can bet u ll be shocked.
Thankfully she didn't have to go through a cheesy soap story to her self around. I believe she realized her assets well in time and decided to make the most of her life.
Actually it was similar with a classmate of mine too. Haven?t seen her since college, but from what I hear, am sure wouldn't recognize her even if I did.

The first book I finished this weekend was "Veronica Decided To Die". Not in the league of the "the alchemist", yet Coelho is inspiring as always. Mostly it says - you have but one life, make the most of it everyday. And be a little mad.

Next one was Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat. Wonder why it took me so long to lay my hands on this. But it is awesome with a great narration. Many a times I actually burst out laughing aloud, with my poor roomies wondering if I have gone mad already.
Fun aside, my fav was -
"Well,that is life. It screws you right when you think you have figured it out."

When we run into people, we have no clue, what part they ll end up playing in our lives.
And often it is not till a considerable time that we realize they are/were there for. By the way there are a lot of grey areas, so don't hope to make a neat classification in positive and negative.

Yah ... coelho's books have the same underlying theme.. almost all of them. You have one life ... You should do what you feel like doing.. if you really want to do something you can .. and stuff
He puts it very well though.

Just wanted to ask if u tried reading other Coelho's books, say like Elevn minutes or I sat by the River Pedra and wept,its said that the former one is nice, is it so?
