Last night I reached home earliest. Now under normal circumstances that would be an advantage, but I broke my key (yes, you read it right - I broke it) some time ago, so it rendered me stranded outside the door for.......well I guess half an hour.
And very vulnerable to my oldest enemies - The mosquitoes.
Different people have different sensitivities to mosquitoes, some wouldn't even realize they ve been stung; but I for one get horrible itchy even to sense one around! And they always come and attack in worst possible situations.
The worst attacks - (some happened once, some are repeated scenarios)
- Was having a wonderful dinner, with the cool breeze around (ah! It was an open air restaurant), and it gave mosquitoes the perfect ambience to dine on me.
- Was damn tired and decided to catch a nap (in the bus) on my way back from office, but they won't leave me at peace even there. They come and bite the foot !! What, should I be wearing boots always??!?
- On a walk - cmon you go to park only to get some fresh air. Mosquitoes join in uninvited!
- I wouldn't name the airlines (don't want them to sue me), but if any of the airlines officials are reading this, please make sure there are no mosquitoes in your aircraft. Beg you........please.
- Was sitting in a scenic surrounding , having the most romantic of conversations, and these bloody *beep beep* decided to strike; and I was itchy again. Gosh cldn't have had a worse anticlimax.
- And on the most sleepless of nights they make an uncalled for effort to comfort me by singing lullabys right in my ears.
eeeeks - how I hate them.
