HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY

It's International Women's Day toady, and also Shivratri.
Now I ain't a very religious sort or anything, but some enthusiasm of people around, rubbed off on me, and I decided to keep a fast too. Being a good girl, eh!

Unfortunately for me, (and some more of my female colleagues) the men in my office decided to honor us with a surprise party. Now that is a commendable gesture, but......
But the main and the only agenda of the party was, to cut a cake and enjoy the same.

And wait, I am not done yet. The problem was - where to keep the cake?
Now it had to be easily visible and accessible. Somebody suggested my desk....

"No no no, not hers. We also want some cake afterall" , revolted a friend, who knows my tastes better.

"But she is fasting today", one more chirped in.

And this gave their devilish mind a tip off.

"Righto, so we keep the cake here."

And the huge, and presumably yummy cake landed right onto my desk. And stayed there till it lasted. My poor cubicle still smells like a bakery!

Don't know about the ladies here, but the gentlemen in my office had a very happy Women's day indeed !!!
