For some reason, all day I ve been thinking of Sydney Carter from Tale of Two Cities. I loved the part where the author says, if Carter could record his thoughts right now, they wld be as.....(those are the last pages in the book).
And then with a flash, the scene changes, to a snowy evening....Whose woods these are I think I know....a la Robert Frost.
(More famous lines frm the poem are.....miles to go before I sleep).
Okay I ve been up late reading a lot. And that's just the after effect.
Also on Christmas eve I sat up on the terrace, with friends, tracing shapes in the cloud (it was a beautiful moon's night) all of us were hoping that Santa wld pop up from somehere....we saw dinosaurs, bats, sea horses....but Santa??
Can't believe he has forsaken us already!!
Am tired. Very tired. Need a bed, a good night's sleep, and a mind at peace.
On a lighter note ..... just took a walk around, and guess what - I am not the only one sleeping on my desk! ;)
